Sept 30, 2011

Chris had to go for a swim this morning, our port side prop was making a subtle but noticeable intermittent shudder vibration on our trip yesterday. It turned out to be a large plastic bag wrapped around our prop that had to be cut off with a knife. That is the second bag that has gotten wrapped around our prop this trip, the way this bay looks littered with debris, I have a feeling it won't be the last.
We had an uneventful day after that. We anchored off the Academy wall in Annapolis almost exactly where we anchored last year, we will spend the day here tomorrow to get some much needed laundry done, and possibly spend another night.
When we got here, the most unbelievable rainbow was forming. It was in a full arc, I don't remember the last time I saw a full rainbow like that, it was something!
